Founder & Executive Director, EV Alliance
Mr. Schorske is founder and Executive Director of the EV Alliance and the ZNE Alliance. The Alliance partners with cities, utilities, and industry to accelerate accomplishment of Zero Net Energy and Zero Net Emissions goals. The Alliance has worked with over 50 local, state, and national government agencies to advance EV and ZNE goals. Key projects include EV Readiness Plan development with the Cities of San Francisco, San Jose, and Richmond, the County of Ventura, the Monterey Bay Air Resources Board, the Port of Long Beach, and the Kingdom of Jordan. The Alliance is also partnered with the California Energy Commission and the Antelope Valley Transportation Authority to develop program models for integrating electric buses on California’s utility grid. ZNE Alliance also leads two Advanced Energy Community projects to drive ZNE and EV strategies for Lancaster Choice Energy and the City of Lancaster, and the City of Richmond. The Alliance also helped establish the statewide network of PEV Coordinating Councils. Mr. Schorske has authored several policy and program guidance documents in the EV and renewable energy space, including the first statewide Community Choice Energy Guide for Local Governments, and Ready, Set, Charge California! A Guide to EV Readiness.
