An accident that occurred shortly before 7 p.M. On saturday in mainbernheim was relatively minor. It turned out that the driver no longer had a driver’s license.
The police have the following to say about this: a 31-year-old motorist was driving along goldgrubenweg in the direction of rodelseer strabe. There, he wanted to turn left in the direction of the toboggan lake, but disregarded an audi with the right of way, which, in order to prevent an accident, braked hard and swerved suddenly to the right.
This evasive maneuver caused the car driver to skid. After that the car turned 180 degrees on the road and slid partially into the ditch. Fortunately, there was no collision between the two vehicles.
When the police investigated the accident, it turned out that the 31-year-old driver had already had his driver’s license revoked by the courts. Furthermore, it was found that the driver’s girlfriend, who was sitting in the passenger seat during the "almost" accident, was holding a newborn child in her hands without any safety device. The 31-year-old is now being investigated for driving without a license, it says at the end of the report.
